The identification was done using Google Lens, and I’m pretty confident, although it can be difficult for someone who’s not an expert on butterflies. I cropped some images because I noticed that the small butterfly seemed to be wearing glasses, which was quite amusing! For those interested, the photos were taken with the Leica Vario 100-400mm lens set at 400mm, combining macro with a super telephoto setting. Probably not the lens you’d expect for this purpose, but the Leica 100-400mm is remarkably versatile.
